How This Basketball Referee Got Back on the Court After Knee Surgery

Richard is used to calling the shots, but this referee found himself sitting on the sidelines after knee surgery. Instead of just waiting to get better, he took the initiative to make sure he could get back out on the court and field. Although it hasn't always been easy, Richard has consistently shown up and proved that when you put in the hard work, you make things happen.

2) What Brought You Into Physical Therapy?

I was sent to physical therapy after patellar fracture repair surgery.

3) How would you describe physical therapy to someone who doesn’t know what it is?

I have been to physical therapy before and the results are actually remarkable.

4) What would you say to someone who is living in pain and putting off physical therapy?

Just go!!

5) What activities are you most excited about getting back to?

The thing I want to do most is get back on the field to continue to do what i love as a referee!
