Did you know our Patient of the Month is an up and coming music artist?! Meet Juan, otherwise known as "Juancky La Diferencia" in the music world. He came to Iron Physical Therapy after knee surgery which may have gotten him down physically, but never mentally. Juan always came in with a smile on his face, ready and eager to take on whatever challenges were prepared for him in therapy.
Juan's determination and consistency have led this musician, father, and CrossFitter to tremendous gains in his post-surgical recovery! Click here to discover more about how we treat post-surgical patients at Iron.

In Juan’s Own Words…
1) List Three Words to Describe You:
Persistent, determined and focused
2) What Brought You Into Physical Therapy?
A torn ligament surgery on my right knee. I knew for a fact that I needed physical therapy to at least start walking again.
3) How would you describe physical therapy to people who don't know what it is?
It was the key for my recovery. Without physical therapy, there was no way I was going to be able to walk again.
4) What exercise or technique (ie., Active Release Technique, Graston, McKenzie etc.) helped you the most?
Stretching the muscles and cross training!
5) What would you say to someone who is living in pain and putting off physical therapy?
Physical therapy will get you on the right path toward recovery. Without it, there’s no success and progress.
6) What are you excited to get back to after physical therapy?
My main goal was to start walking again…to walk in the park with my kids. Also, getting back to CrossFit.
6) What did you enjoy most about the physical therapy experience?
The professionalism and good energy that all the staff transmit to all the patients. They push you to do better, because they know you’re going to get better.
